KidzMin: PCC's Children's Ministry

(infants - 5th Grade)

Here at PCC, we place a lot of emphasis on families. Our desire is to partner with you to instill a Gospel-centered, biblical foundation for kids so they can know His joy and change His world. We do this by creating a safe, welcoming and caring environment focused on sharing Christ's love that also incorporates partnering with parents.

Sunday Mornings - What To Expect

Early Childhood (Infants - 5 YeaR oLDS)

Our goal for serving families with infants through preschoolers is to provide a safe, loving and encouraging environment where God's love for them is evident. Sunday morning programs include interactive play, worship, creative crafts and biblical story time. Each month we use repetition-based teaching by focusing on two Bible stories allowing children to retain what they have learned. Affirming and equipping parents with take-home resources is just one way we encourage partnering with parents. Our volunteers love the opportunity to pray over babies while serving in the nursery and sharing Jesus's life, love and joy with our preschoolers.

elementary (K-3rd Grade)

During the 9:00AM hour Sunday School classes provide age-appropriate Bible lessons to reveal the big story of God's redemptive plan for elementary-age kids. Each class is led by skilled teachers who are committed to communicating the truth of God's Word through games, activities, stories and crafts. Elementary students are dismissed from the 11AM service to head to Large Group, a creative, interactive class for a Christ-centered Bible study that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities and more.

45 ministry (4th & 5th Grade)

45 is our ministry specifically for our fourth & fifth graders. Not quite teens yet, and outgrowing their younger KidzMin buddies, this unique group of children need something that’s just for them. Our goal is to help these kids begin to make the transition from their parents’ faith to fully grasping the Gospel for themselves, all in the context of healthy, energetic, fun-filled Bible study and discussion with other students and a fantastic team of teachers and leaders.

Partnering with Parents

KidzMin's desire is to partner with parents to instill a Gospel-centered, biblical foundation so children can Know His Joy and Change His World. When you register your child(ren) for KidzMin, we ask parents/guardians to serve in some capacity.  We love serving the children of KidzMin but know parents truly leave the biggest impact.  Join us as we work together, church and family, to bring children to Jesus.

Children With Special Needs

The goal of this ministry is accessibility for all people to worship and serve at PCC, regardless of ability level. We host a monthly prayer and fellowship group for special needs moms, and a quarterly lecture series for parents of kids with special needs.

How To Get Involved

KidzMin is a ministry run by over 200 volunteers.  We are always in need of more volunteers willing to encourage, embrace and show God's love with the children and families of PCC.  Will you join our team?

Child Dedications

We love celebrating with parents as they dedicate a child to God. Dedications are celebrated on Community Sundays twice a year. Parents who would like to dedicate their child are asked to go through a study sheet (available on our app, literature rack or at our website) and meet with a PCC pastor to discuss the three aspects of dedication.
