what do you enjoy most about your role at the chapel?
I get the privilege to come alongside our church family and see the gospel transform our hearts. Whether it is coming alongside a college aged young adult at such a formative time in their life, caring for families as they navigate the complexities of discipleship, or helping equip our church family as we follow Christ together.
You'll often find me outside at a Disc Golf course, watching Manchester United and the Baltimore Orioles, or cooking good food with my wife!
Matt had the joy of growing up at PCC and came to faith through the youth ministry in high school. He studied History and Education at Old Dominion University and became invested in the ministry of Cru. After graduating, he worked on staff with Cru for 8 years in Norfolk, Newport News and Richmond, VA. While in Richmond, he met his wife, Sarah, and they got married in 2019. Matt is passionate seeing the gospel transform our lives and sees it as a great privilege to walk alongside others in the joys and hardships of life. He is currently working towards his Masters of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. In his free time, you can find him spending time with Sarah, playing disc golf, cooking, enjoying the rain, or watching Manchester United and the Baltimore Orioles.
