Men's Ministry

The PCC Men’s Ministry exists to provide a community for men to sharpen each other in their walks with Christ. We seek to strive together to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). We do this through fellowship and service events, studies, retreats, and accountability relationships.

Upcoming Events

Men's Ministry Old Rag Hike

Saturday / March 23, 2024 / Meet at pcc at 5:00AM

Men and older sons, it's time for the annual Men's Ministry Old Rag hike. This rigorous 9-mile loop hike features steep elevation gains, rock scrambles, a few tight squeezes, and some of the most beautiful views in the Shenandoah region. We will carpool from PCC, leaving at 5:00AM. Wear sturdy shoes, and pack enough water (at least 2 liters of water per person) and snacks/lunch to last you the whole trail (approximately 5-6 hours). Pack as lightly as possible otherwise, as segments of the trail are very narrow. Moderate fitness/endurance needed. We will stop for dinner on the way home at BBQ Exchange in Gordonsville.

Please contact Daniel Gordon at 804-929-0577 or daniel.gordon.721@gmail.com if planning to attend or with any questions. Park access passes are required per vehicle, and day use tickets per hiker ($1.00 at https://www.recreation.gov/ticket/10088450/ticket/10088451).

Men's Small Groups

We encourage all men at PCC to get together with other men either one-on-one or in a small group to encourage each other in understanding God’s Word and applying it to life. If you are looking for a group of men to do that with, please consider visiting one of our ongoing small groups. We invite you to join us as we talk about life, who God is, and what those two things have to do with each other. Before visiting a group, please e-mail the point of contact to confirm details about their next meeting.
