Child Dedication & Baptism
Child Dedication
We love celebrating with parents as they dedicate a child to God and themselves to biblical parenting. Dedications are celebrated in our morning worship services throughout the year. Parents who would like to dedicate their child are asked to go through a study sheet and meet with a PCC pastor to discuss the three aspects of dedication.

Baptism
The symbol of water baptism serves as a lasting, visible reminder that we have already had one funeral and that we are now risen with Christ. Candidates for baptism are required to complete a baptism preparation worksheet and discuss its application to life with a mentor prior to experiencing the sacrament. If you are a parent inquiring for your child, please notify the office at least one month in advance in order to permit the mentor sufficient time to walk with your child through the meaning and significance of this important event in their lives. Baptisms are conducted publicly by PCC pastors in the Fall and Winter during Sunday morning worship services and in the Summer during Sunday evening picnics at Fort Monroe.
