Welcome to PCC's Sunday, May 31, 2020 Online Worship Guide!

We are so glad that you are making use of our Online Worship Guide. This page is a little unique. Instead of just hitting play and watching a continuous video, it’s designed to make you an active participant. You are the worship leader in your home and this is a tool that we have created to help you engage in a special time of devoted worship.
If you have family or roommates, gather them together to join you. If you are on your own, consider coordinating with a friend or family member to work through this page together with them over the phone. We recommend displaying this on the largest screen available and suggest that you keep the controls close by so that you can easily move on from one component to the next. At times you will be prompted to engage with a video by singing or listening and there will be other times for you to read something and then respond in prayer.
Just before the sermon there will be links to access Kidzmin and Student Ministry resources. If you don’t have kids with you, just skip those and move on. If you do have kids with you, you can either go through those materials with them before continuing to the sermon or you can go right on to the sermon and then come back to those valuable resources later.
You can begin by watching the Welcome & Call to Worship video below. If the videos are not loading on this webpage, you can view the YouTube playlist by clicking here.

Ministry Report - Consortium Pastors' Prayers
|
Peninsula Community Chapel is part of a family of churches spread out across Hampton Roads. We call it a consortium. We are united by our common history and our partnership in Gospel ministry. What God began at the Tabernacle Church of Norfolk expanded through church planting and incorporation of like minded churches to include Williamsburg Community Chapel, James River Community Church, Centerpoint Community Church in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach Community Chapel, and PCC. Watch this video as the lead pastors of our sister churches share their prayers and encouragements with us as we celebrate this pastoral transition.

Prayer for Global Ministry Partner - Kathleen King

Kathleen King is a PCC primary global partner serving among a people group in Chad, in north central Africa. Kathleen’s primary mission is to build relationships and translate the written Word of God into her people group’s heart language. Kathleen travels to Kenya occasionally for coursework at African International University in Nairobi, but is currently doing distance learning on morphology and syntax as well as translation. Her next scheduled trip to Kenya is in September.
Covid-19 has not hit Chad hard, although there are currently no large-group or church gatherings allowed. Ramadan did, however, hit Chad hard since it was particularly hot during this month-long period. Many Chadians, especially nursing mothers and those with diabetes, died from fasting.
Contact Patti Cubstead, her PCC advocate for more information.
Please pray:

Please pray:
- For Kathleen’s continued acquisition of Arabic and French, as well as her people group’s native tongue
- For supportive and meaningful relationships in country – particularly for relationships with two of her neighbors, Ashta and Kadija
- For full financial support
Worship Through Giving & Music
We recognize that this is a difficult time for many when it comes to finances and so we greatly appreciate you doing what you can to maintain your giving. Peninsula Community Chapel and all of our Global Ministry Partners throughout the world depend upon the regular giving that usually happens in-person each week. You can continue to give online by clicking here. Checks can also be mailed to Peninsula Community Chapel at 4209 Big Bethel Road, Yorktown, VA 23693.
Take a moment to give God thanks for His provision, to pray for God's continued provision for his people, and to thank him for sparing no expense in giving his one and only son in order to rescue and redeem us.
